Most of us want to lose weight but go about it in the wrong way.

You do a bunch of high-intensity workouts and restrict calories leaving you with no energy later in the day - ugh.

What if you stopped focusing on just losing weight and took a more balanced approach?

Focus on losing weight and gaining muscle at the same time. There’s a name for that. It's called body recomposition.

Here’s how to look at it:

  • Resistance or weight train to build muscle.

  • Cardio to stay heart healthy.

  • Nutrition to help with weight loss.

Try low-impact workouts to feel energized and not depleted.

Eat lean proteins, healthy fats, colorful fruits and veggies, and healthy fats with a slight caloric deficit.

Find balance and enjoy the occasional treat. You deserve it.

Why? Because they give you estimates based on algorithms and the sensor information.

But they don't take into account your metabolism, muscle mass, exercise intensity, the temperature, or elevation.
