The Magic of 2.3K Steps

Turns out, we don't have to walk 10,000 steps (almost 5 miles) to see major benefits.

So stop stressing if you can’t hit that number.

Even walking over 2,000 steps can lower the risk of dying from heart disease.

Adding an extra 500 steps to your daily stroll can slash the risk of cardiovascular disease-related death by 7%.

Tack on 1,000 steps and you might reduce the risk of dying from any cause by 15%.

Catching the theme? Small changes can make a big impact on your health.

4.5 Minutes a Day: Shortcut to Lowering Cancer Risk?

Turns out, short bursts of intense exercise every day - like 4.5 minutes, could lower your cancer risk by up to 32%.

They tracked over 22,000 peeps for seven years using wearable tech.

SEVEN YEARS!

Want some ideas on how to add exercise to your daily chores?

  1. Jumping jacks while the coffee's brewin'.

  2. Dance sesh while you brush your teeth.

  3. Run up and down the stairs before switching out the laundry.

Let’s be honest, you probably won’t do those.

Find something that works for you.
